OMG...I am a student again!

I am taking 12 hours this semester at San Jacinto College - South Campus.  My major is History.  I want to teach and then move onto child psychology, so I will be going to school for the next few years.  Here are links to some of my professsor's pages in case you have any interest in any of their subject areas or just want a really interesting site to surf and ponder.

ENGLISH

Dr. Sevier - my wonderful English professor.

I have an excellent English professor this semester.  He is Dr. Sevier.  He is 84 years old.  The resonance of his voice fills the classroom, and his knowledge and wisdom spill forth opening our minds to new and wondrous realms.  He is an excellent professor.  I truly enjoy his website.  Stop by and have a look.  He has more there to offer than instructional material.

PSYCHOLOGY

Dr. Sindylek is another excellent professor.  This subject area is filled with a tremendous amount of science.  I am struggling to take it all in.  If I pass this course, I will have learned so much.  Sadly, his website is on the San Jacinto College Blackboard website and is inaccessible unless you are a student.

GOVERNMENT

I am still waiting to decide on my instructor for Government.  Although well intentioned, she is trying to draw her students into a "critical thinking" realm, I think, and is doing everything but teaching, or so it seems to me.  I have difficulty accepting the changes I have seen in our religious, moral and political structure of this country.  Maybe I have lived too long and seen too much.  I took this course because I want to understand why and how and when it all changed.  When did we lose "God" in our moral beliefs and teachings?  How did this happen?  Why did we let it happen?  Maybe I'll find some answers here.  I hope so.

E-Mail me if you should have any comments or suggestions for this website.
